Despite facing a powerful Notre Dame defence, McCord converted key plays, including a fourth-down conversion and a third-and-19 conversion, all without the benefit of timeouts. Notre Dame’s Defensive Gap

Kyle McCord’s game performance was outstanding, as he completed 21 of 37 passes for 240 yards. His ability’s  to shine under duress bodes well for  Ohio State’s future. TreVeyon Henderson also contributed considerably with 104 rushing yards, including crucial 61-yard touchdown run. McCord and Henderson worked well together to help Ohio State win.

Notre Dame’s Point of View and Upcoming Challenges

Despite losing, Notre Dame quarterback Sam Hartman showcased his skill with quick reads and accurate throws. In forthcoming games against potentially unbeaten opponents, the Fighting Irish will need Hartman to be at his best. Notre Dame looks to rebound and maintain their outstanding  performance as they face big obstacles ahead, using the lessons acquired from this close game.

Injuries

Both clubs had injury worries during the game. Marvin Harrison Jr. of Ohio State suffered leg injury but returned to the game after treatment. Jayde Thomas of Notre Dame was also injured and required treatment in the injury tent during game. These incidents heightened the atmosphere of an already dramatic encounter.
