Google's 25th  Birthday:  The tech giant's journey

 In mid 90's Larry Page & Sergey Brin, met Stanford University and  started  "BackRub"

By 1998, their project evolved into Google, a name inspired by 'Googol'- a mathematical term that means a very large number.

in 1998, Andy Bechtolsheim, of Sun Microsystems, gave a $100,000   to Sergey Brin and Larry Page, and Google Inc. was officially born.

April 2004 Google announces it is testing the release of Gmail, with up to 1GB of storage capacity 

February 2005 Launches Google Maps for desktop.

August 2005 Acquires mobile startup Android  Launches Google Talk instant messaging service.

2006 Buys online video service YouTube for $1.65 billion
