Remembering Brooks Robinson, a Baltimore legend

Brooks Robinson, considered to be the greatest third baseman ever, has died

Born in , Arkansas, Robinson made his debut for the Orioles in 1955 

 Most Valuable Player award in 1964 after hitting .317 with a league-leading 118 RBIs

helped the Orioles bring World Series championships to Baltimore in 1966 and in 1970

During  ’70 World Series Robinson made one of his greatest defensive plays in Game 1

collected 2,848 hits and is one of the best clutch hitters of all time

Robinson set the standard for third basemen during his career, with 18 All-Star Game selections

He holds the major league record for the most games -- 10 -- driving in the only run in a 1-0 victory

elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1983 in his first year on the ballot.

Earned  the nickname "The Human Vacuum Cleaner.
